Fredericksburg & Enchanted Rock

To ring in the new year, Scott's parents invited us to stay with them in Fredericksburg, TX at a Bed & Breakfast style cedar cabin for a week. It was so nice to get away and enjoy the simplicity of life. There wasn't much planned - just relax and enjoy the surroundings. Here are a few pictures of our cabin and the view.


Every morning Austin would wake us up so we could experience the breathtaking views upon sunrise. No wonder the cabin was called Moonrise!!






This was also Austin's 1st Road trip. Austin's becoming quite the traveler. First a plane ride to Arizona and now a road trip, which he did remarkably well considering he was confined to a carseat for about 5 hours each way.

On New Years DAY we decided to take a tour of Enchanted Rock since we were in the area. Here are some pictures of that trip:



Now that Austin's more mobile, he wanted to get down and climb apart of the mountain. Here are a few pictures of him climbing his way to the top!
