Update

Scott and I have finally decided to bite the bullet and do some much needed house improvements. In the first part of March we painted the kitchen/living room as well as build a deck in the backyard. Here are some pictures: We have also planted 3 trees total, 2 in the back and 1 in the front, now that the weather has warmed up. Right now Scott lovingly calls them "twigs" but hopefully in 10 years (haha) when they are nice and big, Austin can do what boys do best and climb to his heart content. With all the improvements - our house looks 110% better! Here's a picture of Austin supervising us while we were putting down mulch: Austin rearranging the furniture. Apparently it wasn't where HE wanted it to be :D Austin recently has started walking on his own! (He was a few days shy of turning 13 months) He started taking his 1st steps March 22nd and hasn't stopped. His main method of transportation is still crawling but he's getting more confident in his ability of walking.

My mom and I are training for the Breast Cancer 3Day that is in November. Since we are in the early stages of training we are walking 2-3 days a week. A fellow teammate of mine has calculated that after all our training plus the 3day itself - we will have walked from Downtown Dallas to Del Rio - AND BACK! That's over 878 miles! Austin's 1st Birthday Party
